2022 - A Pictorial Review

January - Snow, ice and an interesting sky.

February - One of the winter's colorful sunsets.

March Full Moon

(With a photo bomb by a bird of prey if you enlarge the photo.)

April - A pair of Flickers.

May - Flowering wild plum with the spillway overflow as a backdrop.

June - The fountain at the pond was finally fixed after missing in action for several years.

I always liked catching a shot of it in rainbow mode.

July- The joy of discovering a bed of yellow Lotus and pink Swamp Milkweed at Lake Binder

August - Lavendar tinted waves of Asperitas* clouds. (*Latin for 'roughness'.)

September - There is a butterfly hidden amidst these gorgeous Gaillardias.

(Also known as Blanket Flowers.)

October - A view of the Grand River from the bridge on Mt. Pisgah Road.
One of the stops we made while exploring Jones Township in Union County.

November - One last walk on the grass paths at Green Valley State Park.

This corner post represents memories of growing up on the farm.

December - Appropriately represented by a Solstice snow on the first day of winter.

A bonus photo from an August walk at Green Valley.

I'm not sure why I like this photo of my love so much.
It might have something to do with the slant of his cap.

It was a good year for some of my favorite pastimes - photography, nature and being with my partner.
