When the forecast is for partly cloudy skies, doesn't that mean they're also partly sunny?
The sunrise was sufficient to tint the clouds. This has to be what the term
sky blue pink refers to.
I walked around to the deck in time to see a couple of deer on the pond dam. I stilled and waited.
Five more came into view. All seven are in this photo - one so perfectly camoflauged it is hard to discern - one almost entirely hidden behind another in this bevy.
Three months from now, some of this group will have little ones.
With luck, I will see a repeat of this scene from two years ago. With lots of luck I may even see twin fawns again.
The sky is still partly sunny. There's a chance for rain which we could use, along with some warm weather to green the grass for our wildlife.
