A year goes by so fast, never quicker, it seems, than when you watch a baby grow and change. The second of our great-granddaughters was born one year ago.
Sunday we all gathered for her first birthday party. Here she had just gotten up from a nap. She's wondering, "What are all these people doing here?"
Micky Mouse Club was the theme for the party, in case you couldn't tell from Brynley's cute outfit.
Katrina, Brad and Rodney had the house decorated in all things Mickey. I especially liked the newborn through twelve month photos along the mantle.
Very carefully she began investigating her cake.
Cousins Sawyer and Lily....
....and Jack were on hand to help Brynley celebrate. (As were her three older brothers, who I failed getting pictures of.)
A quick clean up and wardrobe change after the cake and we're ready to open all those presents!
With Mommie's help, of course. I don't know what this toy is called, but it plays the Mickey Mouse Club tunes which are Brynley's favorites.
There were alot of Mickey/Minnie themed gifts.
