Number one granddaughter, Katrina Marie, along with her partner, Brad, and sons, Michael, Nicholas, and Rodney, hosted a first birthday party today for their daughter and sister, Brynley Marie.
The theme was Mickey and Minnie Mouse, two of her favorite characters. Brynley knew exactly what to do with her cake. I have umpteen more pictures of the celebration which I will share in a couple days on Brynley's birth date.
Gathering for the party gave us our first time meeting the newest great-grandson, Maverick Steven, almost six weeks old. This is how he looked most of the afternoon - asleep.
He didn't even know great-grandma was holding him as proud big sister, Lily, looked on.
Not too thrilled, but awake for Grandpa Doug and some furry donkey.
Grandpa Doug and Grandma Shelly were meeting Maverick for the first time, too. Shelly wasn't able to hold him much with her right arm in a sling. (Shoulder surgery Friday.)
