Sunrise, Sunset

Only two and a half weeks since the summer soltice and already I can tell the days are shortening. This was the sunrise Friday morning.

♪ ♪ Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days.

Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers,
Blossoming even as we gaze.

Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years,
One season following another,
Laiden with happiness and tears. ♪ ♪

Cleaning continues apace; living room and office are done and, at least for today, so am I. Even the peasants got a day of rest on Sunday. Tomorrow, the dining room and at least a start on the kitchen.
