Hello, June

"And what is so rare as a day in June? Then, if ever, come perfect days." James Russell Lowell

Those ditch daisies I dug last year thrived and spread. I like these happy little weeds flowers.

More happy faces. The violas are doing well, even with all the heat we've had.

I'll be walking in a forest of sunflowers if I let all these volunteers mature!

Ruthie's penstemon is looking good. I have a piece of lattice for the cardinal climber to begin its clamber up to (I hope) an impressive display.

The Isabel Bloom hanging sculpture is titled Celebrate Heart. I think it is saying, School's Out For Summer!

"Mine is the month of roses; yes, and mine
The month of marriages! All pleasant sights
And scents, the fragrance of the blossoming vine,
The foliage of the valleys and the heights.
Mine are the longest days, the lovliest nights;
The mower's scythe makes music to my ear;
I am the mother of all dear delights;
I am the fairest daughter of the year."
(June by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow)
