Books Read In September 2022

Eleven books read this month! And, as you can see, all but one were penned by the same two authors. (Do we still say penned when an actual pen or pencil may not have been used?)

The Collectors, Divine Justice and Hell's Corner were the final three books in David Baldacci's Camel Club series.

Live to Tell and Love You More are the next two books of Lisa Gardner's D.D. Warren series.

What Happened To The Bennetts is Lisa Scottoline's latest offering.  It is a stand alone about a family in witness protection.

Catch Me and Fear Nothing  by Lisa Gardner are the next two titles in her D.D. Warren series. I am really liking this character and her crime solving abilities.

One Good Deed, A Gambling Man and Dream Town are the first three books in David Baldacci's Aloysius Archer series. As I started reading the first one, I was immediately struck by the difference in it and Baldacci's other books. It is the time period. These books take place in the late 40's and early 50's. I can't help but imagine that the author had a lot of fun writing them, getting the flavor of that time just right. I have enjoyed all the books by Baldacci that I have read so far, but I love this series. Dream Town just came out this year so I don't know if there will be more featuring Archer, but I have the feeling there will be. I sure hope so! And while I wait to see if Archer goes on I still have a number of Baldacci titles that I haven't yet read.
